INTERNATIONAL ADULT AND STUDENT DRIVERS
Our students receive all the possible driving skills training and
tools essential to becoming a safe and responsible drivers.
Driving is a privilege.
International Students and Adults wishing to obtain an Iowa Driver’s license can purchase packages that will provide training for the Beginner up to the Novice driver.
The Iowa DOT strongly recommends that all new drivers have at the minimum 20 hours of driving time prior to scheduling a DOT Road test.
New drivers without a minimum of 20 hours are less likely to pass and in general are considered a higher risk to the other drivers on the road.
Iowa has various weather patterns that all new drivers need to be exposed to and have driving experience in order to be safer drivers.
Weather that you will see in Iowa are WIND, HEAT, RAIN, SNOW and ICE. Many of these can be combined such as RAIN and WIND, SNOW and WIND, SNOW, ICE and WIND.
Without proper training, a new driver can misjudge the conditions and cause a wreck or collision that can result in injury or DEATH.
